Born and raised in South Africa, Antoinette is a renowned businesswoman and leader in performing arts, with over 29 years of experience. As an award-winning choreographer and qualified dance coach, she specializes in Contemporary, Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Lyrical, Musical Theatre, and Technique training. Antoinette is the founding director of Rhapsody Centre of Performing Arts and Prestige Youth Dance Company, nurturing talent and inspiring future generations.

Her leadership extends to roles such as Director of and Examiner for the Theatre Dance Association (TDA), Western Province Area Coordinator (DASA) and Technique lecturer at LAMTA. Antoinette is a SABOD, World of Dance adjudicator and has judged prestigious competitions like SACOPA’s regional finals, and World Dance Challenge.

She is trained in Ballet, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Jazz, Lyrical, Latin American,
Modern, Tap and African dance, and she has choreographed productions such as The Hunchback of Notre Dame, The Secret Garden, and international events such as the Rugby 7’s World Cup opening ceremony, the World Championships of Performing Arts gala in Los Angeles USA and is also the Contemporary Syllabus Choreographer for DASA. Antoinette’s dancers have achieved over 300 international top 3 awards, including Grand Champion of the World titles, with her choreography earning numerous accolades. Among her many awards are the TDA Teacher of the Year (2011, 2016), Legends Teacher of the Year (2017), and SACOPA Best Coach Award.

Her choreography has been recognized by many competitions including the TDA’s Best
Choreography Award (2019), She was named International Dance Coach of the Year
by Corporate Live Wire (2020, 2021) and a Top 5 Finalist for Global Dance Supreme
Choreographer of the Year (2022), Most Outstanding Choreography Award at the
TDA MOVE!, World of Dance, Dance World Cup, WLDF, and DanceStar events (2023-
2024), and holds several international honours to date.

Antoinette is the mother of twins, and likes to focus on a fit lifestyle including boxing.
She holds qualifications in Sports Psychology, Small Business Management, Event Planning, Make-up Artistry, and Infant Development.

Antoinette always attempts to grow the performing art community in her personal
capacity through workshops, and motivational lectures in order to spark inspiration, creativity and to promote her love of dance.
